I believe in strategically working alongside staff, students and parents to ensure that all students master the curriculum.  I create an inclusive environment where students are encouraged to take academic risks, in an effort to challenge and improve their skills. I am extremely excited to be joining BCCS this coming September, and be one of the founding team, having spent 7 years teaching in international schools. I look forward to bringing my experience to my new students at BCCS.

I hold a bachelor’s degree from Cairo University, Faculty of Arts – Arabic language department, and a pre-Master degree in comparative literature as well as an Arabic Instructor Diploma for Non-Arabic speaking students, and I am officially certificated in teaching Arabic (CCTAFL), ‎from The American University in Cairo.

I take pride in developing young minds and I am committed to ensuring that each student gets the opportunity to achieve their full potential. I strive to ensure learning Arabic is exciting and engaging for all BCCS students.

I strongly believe that communication is a key part of any child’s development and ensure that parents are fully aware of their child’s achievement as well as their “next steps” in learning. I always welcome questions and conversations with parents to make sure we are working together to support your child to access the curriculum to their full potential.

Outside school, I love reading, travelling, listening to classical music, and meeting with friends and going out to discover many of new places.

I look forward to meeting you all in September and looking forward joining this wonderful school.

Proudly, I have been teaching the Arabic language in Dubai since 2015. I love working with students, supporting them academically and encouraging them socially.  I believe in teaching them the skills that they can apply to many life situations, rather than solely focusing on curriculum. I look forward to helping my students develop and being a part of their journey at BCCS.

Educationally, I believe that if we meet students of all ages where they are, then articulate high expectations, they rise to and even exceed the challenge when provided with encouragement, support and appropriate scaffolding.

Outside the school, my Family means everything to me, I love spending time with my lovely wife, and I am a big fan of sports as I am a soccer player, swimmer and scuba diver.

I believe very strongly in education. I want school to be a home away from home for my students where they are excited to learn and want to come to school each and every day with happiness and readiness in their eyes.  My personal goal is to develop a love of learning in every single child and to help them to recognise their own inner strengths and passions both academically as well as socially.  School is supposed to be fun and engaging and it's my aim to make it that way each and every day. My academic strengths are in Language Arts (specifically narrative and creative writing), Science (specifically FUN experiments) and Math (specifically connecting math to their real world so they understand it's valued importance in their daily lives).

I am very excited to meet all of my students and their families and look forward to us all working together for the benefit of the children.
